About The Position

The Greenhouse Assistant is a part-time, non-benefited position open only to UND students. The role involves watering plants, cleaning up plant debris, and monitoring greenhouse conditions. Watering is required on weekdays and weekends, including 1–2 weekends per month. The position pays $15.00 per hour, is non-exempt and eligible for overtime, and is scheduled for 10 hours per week. On-campus or hybrid work availability is not offered; 100% remote work is also unavailable.

Requirements

• Must be willing to work under greenhouse conditions.
• Must be able to work 1–2 weekends per month.
• Must have an interest in plant maintenance.
• Must successfully complete a Criminal History Background Check.
• Only UND students are eligible to be hired.
• Applicants must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
• The position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.
