Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of combined experience in network operations, network engineering, or network construction, or industry-facing roles (e.g., sales, program management, or vendor partnerships) with demonstrated knowledge of ISP (Internet Service Provider) builds, infrastructure deployment, and SFU (Single-Family Unit) Greenfield implementation.
  • 7 years of experience in GIS systems and the ability to interpret network documentation such as Google Earth data, FTTH records, or as-built maps.
  • 7 years of experience working with Telecommunications Providers, Power Companies, or Cable Providers.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working directly with home builders and developers for the purposes of joint trench participation by telecommunications companies.
  • 10 years of experience in network operations, network engineering, network construction, or industry-facing roles with exposure to technical infrastructure and customer requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to represent the organization with external stakeholders.
  • Experience leading or contributing to cross-functional teams, external partners, and customer-facing initiatives.
  • Experience working with vendor management, customer engagement, or strategic partnerships in the telecommunications industry.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising the entire division of Single Family Joint Trench Greenfield Construction.
  • Ensuring the smooth and effective execution of joint trench operations.
  • Optimizing vendor and production management to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Spearheading documentation, testing, acceptance, last-mile, and installation operations.
  • Leading the development of the end-to-end Joint Trench Greenfield Program for GFiber.
  • Establishing and implementing efficient processes, documenting and ensuring adherence to all aspects of the Joint Trench Greenfield Program.
  • Cultivating and maintaining essential contacts, processes, and documentation related to developers, municipal and utility relationships, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring production meets or exceeds deadlines, proactively adjusting staffing and schedules in the field to align with priorities.
  • Offering expert insights and support on matters concerning the Joint Trench Greenfield Program.
  • Serving as a communication bridge between GFiber and Joint Trench partners, handling permits, inspections, rebuilds, NESC and/or RUS interpretation, and GFiber policies/standards.
  • Negotiating and fostering relationships with telecommunications providers, power companies, cable providers, and joint trench contractors.
