The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) is seeking a part-time or full-time Green School Works (GSW) Fellow to support the implementation and growth of the Green School Works program. This program aims to inspire and support Massachusetts schools to become more efficient, comfortable, and emission-free through demonstration funding for innovative, replicable, and cost-efficient projects. The Fellow will play an important role in supporting GSW grantees, gaining firsthand experience in grant administration and public-sector program implementation while helping schools access resources for high-impact projects. The Fellow will also support outreach, communications, and stakeholder engagement efforts to increase awareness and participation in GSW, as well as awareness of clean energy and electrified heating and cooling solutions in schools. This may involve developing outreach materials, supporting webinars and events, coordinating with school districts and partners, tracking engagement, and identifying opportunities to reach prospective participants. The Fellow may also assist with general program operations, data analysis, reporting, process improvements, and other activities supporting GSW delivery. This role contributes to Massachusetts' clean energy and climate goals by supporting projects that improve school facilities, reduce emissions, and create healthier learning environments. The internship program at MassCEC includes educational and networking opportunities such as division head presentations, Tech Talks, Brown Bag Presentations, and other industry events.
