About The Position

Arbor Ridge K-8 is looking for a caring staff helper to support our composting program during elementary school lunch. We are looking for someone that is patient and has positive energy, passionate about sustainability and reducing waste. The applicant needs to be able to stand and guide students in a busy cafeteria environment.

Requirements

• Must be patient.

• Must be able to stand and guide students in a busy cafeteria environment.
• Must be reliable.
• Must be available during elementary lunch periods - Monday through Friday during the hours of 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Help students during elementary lunch with composting.
• Teach students what can and cannot be composted.
• Monitor and maintain compost bins.
• Support students in reducing waste and help implement sustainability practices on campus.
