The Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) seeks to protect, preserve, and enhance Massachusetts’ environmental resources and create a clean energy future for all residents. The Department of Energy Resources’ (DOER) mission is to create a clean, affordable, resilient, and equitable energy future for all in the Commonwealth. The Green Communities Division provides grants, technical assistance, and local support to help municipalities reduce energy use and costs by implementing clean energy projects in municipal buildings, facilities, and schools. DOER is seeking a Green Communities Grants Coordinator to administer several of the Green Communities Division’s grant programs. The Grants Coordinator reports to the Deputy Director of Green Communities and provides guidance, support, and analysis on issues related to their position. The Green Communities Grants Coordinator will manage the Green Communities Designation, Competitive, Municipal Energy Technical Assistance (META), and Regional Energy Planning Assistance (REPA) grants and coordinates future grants and/or programs as directed by the Director and Deputy Director.
