GRAY MEDIA TRAINING PROGRAM FALL '26 - WSAW

Gray MediaWausau, WI
Onsite

About The Position

The Gray Media Training Program is a 10-week immersive experience designed for college students (Junior or Senior status preferred) seeking hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of local media. This program offers participants the opportunity to "own" their roles, whether crafting news stories, tracking weather, or closing digital ad deals, becoming a vital part of an award-winning team from day one. It is not a typical "get the coffee" internship, but rather a high-octane program where interns perform real-world assignments that reach thousands of people daily. The program aims to develop the next generation of media professionals, including producers, reporters, weather experts, and sales executives. Participants will create content for digital platforms, collaborate with seasoned professionals, and build a professional-grade portfolio. The program is designed to position interns for full-time career opportunities within Gray Media's network of 117 stations.
