About The Position

Responsible for performing high volume cash and non-cash transactions with internal and external guests in a courteous, accurate, and timely manner. Performs daily tasks in the cage operations areas, including table fills and table credits. This role involves working in Cage front window/chip bank and other employee service areas, as well as other departmental areas as assigned. The position requires performing Table Fills and Table credits, high volume EGD jackpots, issuance of venue banks, and employee transactions. Duties include General Check Cashing, Cash Advances, CR transactions, Sportsbook transactions, and other Casino cashier transactions. The role also assists in the issuance and payment of Casino Credit instruments, maintains accurate transaction and auditable balancing practices, and adheres strictly to department policies and procedures to maintain the integrity of the cash operation. A strong knowledge of Title 31 requirements is necessary. The role involves replenishing and balancing ticket redemption machines and performing other related duties. A consistently professional, friendly, and courteous manner is expected in all interactions with guests and employees. The Main Banker functions are similar, working in the Main Bank and Employee Service areas, performing the same transaction duties and maintaining the same standards.

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma or GED plus a combination of equivalent working experience and education and knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers, gaming devices, safety equipment, etc.
  • Must have a strong mathematical ability.
  • Ability to work in a physical demanding area.
  • Must be familiar with a high volume and fast paced environment.
  • Ability to read general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write simple reports, and correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a license from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
  • Must regularly access patron personal data including credit information.
  • Requires access to general areas of the gaming facility and the cage/main bank areas.

  • Assisting in the issuance and payment of Casino Credit instruments.
  • Maintaining accurate transaction and auditable balancing practices.
  • Maintaining strict adherence to the department policies and procedures are necessary to maintain integrity of the cash operation.
  • Maintaining a strong knowledge of Title 31 requirements.
  • Replenishing and balancing ticket redemption machines and performing any other duties related to the ticket redemption machines.
  • Conveying a consistently professional, friendly, and courteous manner, in interactions with all guests and employees.
  • Works in the Main Bank and Employee Service areas.
  • Other duties assigned.
