About The Position

Clean Water Action is hiring full-time and part-time Grassroots Organizers for its Field Canvass team in Northampton, Massachusetts. Organizers engage with communities to educate, fundraise, and mobilize support for policy priorities including climate action, clean water affordability, and banning toxic chemicals. They also raise awareness and funds for environmental and public health initiatives and advocate for legislative action on issues such as utility affordability and corporate accountability. The role is in person and requires a minimum commitment of three days per week. The organization offers paid training, professional development, and opportunities for career growth and leadership.

Requirements

• Commit to working a minimum of three days per week.
• Passion for environmental and social justice issues.
• Strong oral communication skills.
• Interest in nonprofit work, grassroots organizing, or policy advocacy.
• Must be within a one-hour driving distance of the Northampton office or plan to relocate.
• This is an in-person role based in Northampton, Massachusetts.
