About The Position

We are looking for a motivated engineer with passion for problem solving to join our team and to work on our world-class semiconductor chips. As a member of our Graphics Post-silicon team, you will be involved in all the phases of our silicon validation stage to ensure the successful commercialization of our GPU in the next generation chips. In this position, you will be working on system-level platforms and will be responsible for the functional verification of our GPU, working on high-volume test screen solutions, doing power and performance correlations, as well as collaborating with a multitude of teams to support the debug and to provide solutions for their functional failures. You will work in a fast-paced and exciting cross-functional environment, where you will interact with the production test teams, designers, DV (design verification), SW and Customer engineers and solve the technical challenges to enable our most advanced, high-performance and power-efficient GPU in the next mobile and computing devices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of related experience in Silicon Validation.
  • System validation on emulation platforms and on silicon with experience in chip bring-up and debug.
  • Debugging low-level software and hardware issues.
  • Programming of device drivers in C language.
  • Scripting in Perl/Python for data analysis and test automations.
  • Validation and debug of mixed-signal IP.
  • Measurement of power, performance and thermal on silicon.
  • Excellent C/C++ programming skills.
  • Excellent Perl/Python scripting skills.
  • Knowledge in the ARM CPU architecture and AHB/AXI bus protocols.
  • Knowledge in the GPU architecture.
  • Knowledge in VLSI Design and Test Methodologies.
  • Experience with lab equipment, such as, Logic analyzers and Oscilloscopes.
  • Experience with the Lauterbach Trace32 debug platform.
  • Familiarity with ARM Coresight IP.
  • Familiarity with DFT/DFD.
  • Familiarity with RMA process.
  • Good written and oral communications skills.
  • Multitasking skills.
  • Understanding of deadline requirements.
  • Able to work independently with little supervision.
