About The Position

The Graphics Software Engineer is a six-month contractor role supporting development of real-time Gaussian Splatting rendering systems for avatar and XR applications running on edge devices such as Android phones and AR glasses. The position focuses on GPU optimization, memory-efficient data pipelines, and real-time rendering under mobile constraints. The ideal candidate is hands-on and able to improve performance-critical systems deployed directly on hardware. The engineer will architect, design, implement, and verify GPU hardware, driver, feature, application, and tool structures and performance. The role includes developing and optimizing Dynamic Gaussian Splatting pipelines; tuning them for mobile GPUs and constrained memory, bandwidth, and power; designing compact data representations and efficient CPU-to-GPU transfers; developing and integrating shaders; debugging rendering and numerical precision issues; and validating results against reference pipelines. The engineer will collaborate with XR, vision, and avatar teams and contribute to prototypes and on-device demos.
