About The Position

Maricich Health is seeking freelance Graphic Production Artists for anticipated project needs. The role focuses on taking approved creative and producing polished, production-ready files for print and digital channels. Artists will collaborate with art directors, account teams, and project managers on healthcare marketing campaigns. The engagement is freelance and project-based, with potential for ongoing work. The position is remote or hybrid in Irvine, California, and requires availability during Pacific Time hours. Applicants should provide a portfolio or samples demonstrating production work.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of graphic production experience, ideally at an agency or in-house creative team.
• Expert-level proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong knowledge of print production, prepress, and digital ad specifications.
• A sharp eye for typography, alignment, and detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Clear communication skills; ability to work well remotely and take direction.
• Availability to work Pacific Time hours.
• Portfolio or work samples demonstrating production work.

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare, health plan, or pharmaceutical advertising experience.
• Experience with regulated content and compliance review cycles.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (508/WCAG) for digital and print.
• Experience producing materials in Spanish and other languages.
• Figma, Adobe Acrobat Pro, or basic motion/animation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and resize campaign creative for print, digital, out-of-home, social, and direct mail formats.
• Prepare mechanicals and final files to printer and publication specifications, including bleeds, color, and preflight checks.
• Apply brand guidelines consistently across large, multi-piece campaigns.
• Complete client and internal revisions quickly and accurately.
• Produce member and patient materials, including brochures, mailers, flyers, and multilingual versions.
• Organize, package, and archive files so they can be easily found and reused.
