About The Position

Bowhead seeks a Graphic Artist for a new contract supporting JWAC in Dalghren, Virginia. The position is 100% onsite. The contract provides support for the creation, maintenance, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of graphic design data. The Graphic Artist performs high-level computer graphic design activities and contributes to projects from conceptualization and development through final presentation. The role uses current graphic design technologies and software to create graphics and miscellaneous media, and provides creative input on the design and composition of data for a broad military audience.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in the career field and graphic design.
• Proficiency with Photoshop, Adobe Illustration Package, 3D modeling, animation, web design and HTML, and authoring courseware and internet sites.
• Proficiency in Microsoft products and systems.
• Must hold an active Top Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required for a Top Secret clearance at this location.
• Must be able to lift 5 to 10 pounds, stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time, and twist, bend, and squat periodically.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Active Top Secret clearance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, analyze, interpret, and present graphic design data.
• Perform on-site, high-level computer graphic design activities to produce brochures, briefings, displays, visual analytic products, and other materials.
• Participate in all aspects of graphics and illustration projects, from conceptualization and development to final presentation.
• Use current graphic design technology and computer software packages to produce and develop high-level graphics and miscellaneous media.
• Propose creative input to final decision makers on the design and composition of data for a broad military audience.
