About The Position
Gibson Homewares is seeking a Graphic Designer / Production Artist to create and prepare artwork for product packaging. The role includes preparing production-ready print files, updating existing artwork, creating mock-ups, and designing packaging materials such as gift boxes, color sleeves, and hang tags in accordance with multiple brand guidelines. The position is based in the company’s Los Angeles headquarters and is in-office Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- College education or a minimum of four years of related job experience.
- Computer skills working with Microsoft Office and Adobe CC.
- Good mechanical and production skills.
- Submit a portfolio or samples of work.
Responsibilities
- Prepare production-ready files for print.
- Update and edit existing artwork.
- Prepare mock-ups.
- Create packaging designs, including gift boxes, color sleeves, and hang tags, according to multiple brand guidelines.
