About The Position

To design and develop POS/graphics and layouts for our suppliers, customers, and corporate office. This role involves creating designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on layout principles and aesthetic design concepts. The Graphic Designer will also draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork using computer graphics software. They will communicate artistic themes in various presentation materials and assemble final layouts for printing, reviewing and suggesting improvements as needed. Production work, including photo copying, cutting, folding, mounting, and laminating, is also part of the responsibilities. The role requires maintaining computer files and managing equipment, including preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. Meeting required timelines with quality work is essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate in Graphic Design
• 1 year of experience with computer design and layout programs
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to concentrate in a loud office setting
• Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines
• Ability to lift 30 or more pounds
• Team Player who collaborates well with others

Nice To Haves

• Experience within Design, Photoshop, and Illustrator preferred

Responsibilities

• Create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principals and esthetic design concepts.

• Communicate artistic themes in flyers, posters, drink lists, handbooks, or other company presentation materials for our customers and suppliers.
• Assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for printer.
• Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.
• Handle production work which entails photo copying, cutting, folding, mounting, and laminating.
• Maintain computer files.
• Manage the equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, troubleshooting malfunctions and calling in repairs.
• Meet all required timelines with quality work.
