About The Position

This is a temporary position for a Graphic Designer within the FlexStaff program. The role involves reviewing requests and preparing mock-ups for signage and artwork, adhering to internal branding and artwork guidelines. The designer will create and conceptualize the appearance of website, digital, and printed communications, assisting the art director and senior graphic artists in maintaining a cohesive brand look and architecture. Responsibilities include developing website design assets, creating the look and features of websites, and conceptualizing printed marketing materials. The role requires engagement with various teams including UX, project management, marketing, copy, and print management. The designer will translate customer requirements into draft deliverables, produce comprehensive layouts, and prepare final deliverables for production. The position also involves utilizing appropriate imagery, maintaining website design implementation information, and formalizing print production specifications. The role operates under general guidance, with varied assignments requiring interpretation and independent decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, required

Responsibilities

  • Creates/conceptualizes appearance of website, digital, and printed communications
  • Assists art director and senior graphic artists in maintaining cohesive brand look and brand architecture
  • Using brand guidelines, develops and creates websites design assets and associated applications; creates the look, layout, and features of the website; creates/conceptualizes appearance of printed marketing materials
  • Engages with art director, UX team, project manager, marketing manager, copy team, and print manager as individual projects evolve
  • Translates customer’s requirements to an appropriate draft deliverable; produces comprehensive layouts simulating the proposed website, digital, and/or printed collateral
  • Prepares website, digital, or print deliverable for production and execution
  • Utilizes appropriate photography, clip art, and custom illustrations to meet brand standards
  • Maintains all relevant information to coordinate website design implementation
  • Formalizes print production specifications with print manager for print estimates
  • Operates under general guidance and work assignments are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action
