About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. As a Graphic Designer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Following a variety of clearly defined procedures under general guidance. Work independently, although the scope for discretion is limited and the output is reviewed periodically while in progress. The work priorities are defined with the manager/supervisor. Handling inquiries of moderate scope and complexity. Producing deliverables consistent with plan objectives and strategies with supervisor direction. Delivering design or design-research content as an individual contributor. Developing a working knowledge of brand/s and 3M guidelines, ensuring accurate implementation. Studying design/market/technology research to interpret consumer feedback that assists in the completion of design requests and projects. Participating in activities to learn new skills and apply them to the job. Demonstrating professional curiosity and creativity in the application of design or design research skills to defined project goals and objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

One (1) year of graphic design experience in branding, design or design-research
Skilled in Adobe Suite, design thinking, and knowledge of current trends.
Have a portfolio that showcases brand design, packaging, in-store experience and brand standard guides.
Basic knowledge of industrial business B2B (Business to Business)

Responsibilities
