About The Position

Doxa Church is seeking a part-time Graphic Designer to bring its message and mission to life through compelling visual design. The designer creates print and digital materials, contributes to the church website and app, and supports ministries across the church in communicating clearly and consistently. The role works closely with the Communications Lead and collaborates with teams throughout Doxa to develop creative work that reflects the church’s identity and beliefs.

The position is 29 hours per week and reports to the Communications Lead. Applicants should include a portfolio showcasing examples of their design work.

Requirements

• A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a passionate, growing relationship with Him.
• Membership at Doxa Church and wholehearted commitment to its doctrine, mission, and worship philosophy.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, and Google Workspace.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, written communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, receive feedback well, and work collaboratively with a servant’s heart.
• Humility, flexibility, trustworthiness, and a desire to support the work of the church.

Nice To Haves

• Three or more years of experience in graphic and web design.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling print and digital designs that reflect Doxa’s brand and visual identity.
• Manage website and app content and create engaging visual elements to support the church’s digital presence.
• Manage Doxa’s Canva account, develop reusable templates, and train employees to use them.
• Collaborate with ministries and departments to understand their needs, develop creative ideas, and refine designs through feedback.
• Help ensure consistency, quality, and clarity across Doxa’s communications.
