About The Position

AMSOIL is currently seeking a Graphic Designer. The Graphic Designer supports the development, execution and maintenance of visual communication materials across consumer, industrial and private label businesses throughout AMSOIL. This role collaborates with marketing, product development, compliance, production and external vendors to create accurate, brand-consistent materials that support business objectives. While this position primarily focuses on product label and packaging development, the Graphic Designer may also support a variety of marketing and communication initiatives including print collateral, digital assets, production support and other design-related projects as business needs require. This position works closely with the Senior Graphic Design Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure creative quality, production accuracy and brand consistency across all deliverables.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of graphic design experience preferred
  • Strong print production and mechanical file preparation experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with print production, packaging development, or production-ready file preparation preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and version control discipline
  • Ability to manage multiple SKUs and production timelines simultaneously
  • Experience in manufacturing or regulated product environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Create and revise product labels for consumer, industrial and private label products
  • Execute copy updates, spec changes and SKU versioning with high accuracy
  • Prepare print-ready mechanical files according to dieline and vendor specifications
  • Rebuild and standardize legacy label files to align with current brand and compliance standards
  • Serve as first-line design support for label-related production issues
  • Troubleshoot file setup issues impacting print performance
  • Coordinate with production teams to resolve formatting and output inconsistencies
  • Prepare and maintain files for variable data and large package printing systems (NiceLabel by Loftware)
  • Apply established brand guidelines consistently across packaging formats
  • Ensure compliance elements meet required sizing, placement and formatting standards
  • Maintain accuracy of regulatory and cautionary language placement
  • Organize and maintain label file structures
  • Document recurring production issues and assist in continuous improvement efforts
  • Support workflow efficiencies within packaging and label development systems
  • Work with marketing, compliance, production and vendor partners to ensure smooth execution
  • Provide overflow support to design team (Sr. Graphic Designers) during high-volume cycles as needed
  • Support the creation and maintenance of marketing and communication materials as needed
  • Assist with digital graphics, email assets, sales materials, presentations and other visual communications projects
  • Contribute to brand consistency across print and digital channels
  • Provide production and design support during peak workload periods
  • Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned
