About The Position

Our client is an Australian management consulting firm specializing in business transformation, customer strategy, and growth acceleration, with a heavy emphasis on Experience Management (XM). They provide specialized consultancies in management and marketing, alongside market research and graphic design, to optimize customer, employee, product, and brand experiences. Teamified is a talent partner helping companies build exceptional remote teams across IT, software, product, and digital innovation. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs that effectively communicate brand and communication campaigns across multiple platforms. You may work on client projects independently, creating all required assets across all platforms (print, digital and motion), or as part of a remote team providing specific components to meet the overall brief to a high standard and on time.

Requirements

  • Degree in graphic design
  • Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio of work
  • Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
  • 3+ years' experience (academic and professional) with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, with particular strength in InDesign and Adobe Animate (in addition to Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • 3+ years' experience creating Microsoft Word and PowerPoint templates
  • Strong layout skills
  • Demonstrated abilities in HTML and CSS
  • Excellent English communication (Australian)
  • Organisational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency across Adobe InDesign, Adobe Animate, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook (including building Word and PowerPoint templates)
  • Experience creating Google ad-ready HTML banners, preferably in Adobe Animate

Responsibilities

  • Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
  • Develop concepts with software, and execute original content determining ideal usage of colour, text, font style, imagery, and layout
  • Perform retouching and manipulation of images
  • Coordinate with others, from the design concept phase through to completion of a project
  • Prepare and export correct print-ready artwork to required specifications
  • Prepare final layouts, marking and pasting up finished copy and art
  • Manage the design and uploading process of all project material, understanding best practices for using a content management system
  • Ensure projects are completed to a high quality and on schedule
  • Prioritise and manage multiple projects
  • Maintain client brand identity and design standards on all work
  • Actively undertake self-directed activities to improve graphic design capabilities
  • Maintain and enhance technical knowledge through ongoing education and training
  • Comply with all company policies
  • Create and design Google ad-ready HTML5 banners and motion assets
  • Create branding (logos and associated graphic elements) for events, through to rolling out all required assets for those events – including newspaper print ads, web banners in GIF and HTML5 formats, social media assets, pull-up banners, event stage graphics, presentation templates (PPTX), and miscellaneous printed and digital assets as required
