Freelance Graphic Designer

Gap International•Springfield, PA

About The Position

Gap International is seeking a Senior Designer to help implement its newly launched brand visual identity across the organization. Working with Marketing and the Creative Director, the designer will translate the identity into a scalable system for presentations, thought leadership, reports, social media, events, digital and internal communications, and client-facing materials. The position emphasizes building templates, standards, assets, and processes that enable consistent, sustainable brand application, alongside hands-on design production across print and digital formats. The designer will assess existing materials, evolve brand standards, develop reusable components and visual assets, and establish documentation, governance, and asset-management processes that support the brand over time. Success includes transitioning priority applications to the new identity, establishing consistent design systems and a robust library of resources, equipping teams to maintain the identity, and creating a roadmap for future implementation and evolution. The ideal candidate is a systems thinker who combines strategic judgment with practical design execution, can navigate ambiguity, and can influence stakeholders through creative judgment. Gap International is an equal opportunity employer and states that employment decisions are based on qualifications, merit, and business need.
