Graphic Designer (Print)
About The Position
Avalon Consulting Group partners with nonprofit organizations in areas like environmental conservation, social justice, and cultural arts to help them raise funds. As a Graphic Designer, you will create compelling visual assets for fundraising campaigns, client presentations, and business development efforts. Your work will translate complex ideas into engaging, effective design that drives impact, ranging from print-ready packages to data visualizations. This role offers an opportunity to grow your skills within a collaborative, mission-driven team that values creativity, quality, and thoughtful execution.
Requirements
- At least one (1) year of experience creating print graphic design deliverables in a professional setting.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
- Solid understanding of layout, typography, color, and pre-press production.
- Experience creating print-ready materials and presentation graphics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Outstanding communications, including both listening and persuasion.
- Consistent professionalism and respectful communication.
- Execution of responsibilities with minimal oversight.
- Strong detail management.
- Critical thinking and troubleshooting.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with data visualization or designing charts and graphics from data.
- Exposure to nonprofit, fundraising, or marketing agency environments.

Responsibilities
- Bring creative concepts to life across a variety of client and internal projects.
- Design print and digital materials, support presentation development, and contribute to data visualization efforts, ensuring deliverables are clear, engaging, and aligned with client goals.
- Manage project timelines, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and support business development efforts through polished proposals and presentation materials.
- Collaborate with teammates to refine ideas and elevate the quality of work.
