MidwayUSA is seeking a passionate Graphic Designer to join their eCommerce department in Columbia, Missouri. This role involves planning, designing, and maintaining web-based graphic elements and advertisements using best-practice digital design principles and tools. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hunting, shooting, and fishing, and a love for the outdoor industry. Requirements

3 years of applicable experience in graphic design
Professional digital graphic design and email marketing design experience
Expert user of the Adobe Creative Suite on PC Platform
Expert user of MS Office software and can learn proprietary systems
Experience using Email Marketing software, preferably Acoustic
Positive attitude and a willingness to continuously improve processes
Active interest in the outdoor/sporting industry

Nice To Haves

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
HTML, XHTML, and CSS experience a plus

Responsibilities

Creating, maintaining, and sending all Customer-facing promotional emails
Designing advertisements
Creating layout, proofs, and output of printed flyer pages; sending to the printer
Producing content for Web Interaction and Print Materials such as Flyer and Email design
Coordinating with other departments to ensure the accuracy and propriety of graphic work
Determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, selecting style and size of type, and arranging layout based upon available space, knowledge of layout principles, and aesthetic design concepts.
