Sago Mini is seeking a Freelancer Graphic Designer - Marketing with motion graphic and video editing experience to help create on brand marketing assets for our products. Sago Mini develops ground-breaking playful learning product that puts kids at the centre of the experience. As a Freelance Graphic Designer in Marketing, you will be involved in helping showcase this work in it’s best light, and working with the marketing team to craft creatives that center kids and play. This is a junior/intermediate position suitable for candidates with 1+ years of related experience. This is a remote position; while virtual meetings may be required, no in-office attendance is mandatory.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or diploma in a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience creating visual assets for digital media
- Strong background and skillset in video and photo editing
- Impeccable attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
- Strong graphic design and layout skills
- Strong proficiency and experience with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere and/or After Effects.
- Strong communication skills
- A self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
- Experience with creative briefs and understanding project demands
- Comfortable taking art direction and incorporating feedback into deliverables
- Ability to be flexible and work on a variety of different projects
- Candidates that do not include a linked website/portfolio of design work will not be considered.
Nice To Haves
- Motion graphic and/or 2D animation experience an asset
- Proficiency with Figma
- Experience with App related assets and platforms
Responsibilities
- Editing photos and videos for paid and organic channels
- Creating graphics and new design layouts
- Working within product brand guidelines and templates
- Working with and across teams and internal stakeholders to execute creatively
- Perform other design related tasks as needed
