About The Position

Harbor is seeking a dynamic and talented Graphic Designer to join our Studio H team as a key creative force behind marketing materials that bring Harbor brands and customers to life. This position will focus on engaging designs for digital, print, menu design, product packaging, and event branding across restaurants, foodservice, and retail product management. Harbor Graphic Design requires key skills in shaping the identity of our brands, a collaborative mindset, and shared vision for highly impactful projects on a regional scale. This onsite position is based in our Lacey, WA or Kent, WA offices with hybrid eligibility. A portfolio or sample of recent and completed work is required with your application.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in graphic design, marketing, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design tools.
  • Strong understanding of design principles (layouts, typography, branding).
  • Experience in B2B and B2C marketing design, with a keen eye for consistency.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Effective communication and writing skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Expereince in food-consumable products design highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging, persuasive sales and marketing materials that clearly communicate value propositions and support the sales team in driving customer interest and business growth.
  • Craft visually compelling marketing materials, including digital assets, print collateral, product packaging, and event branding.
  • Design compelling consumer facing digital and paper menus for our customers.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all materials for Harbor Foods and its subsidiaries.
  • Coordinate and design vendor-related projects, such as promo books and promotional assets.
  • Work closely with the marketing team, and other departments to create impactful designs.
  • Manage multiple design requests in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Participate in brainstorming and creative strategy discussions to enhance marketing efforts.
  • Coordinate production printing and signage creation with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Stay ahead of design trends and industry best practices to keep our creative work fresh and engaging.
  • Understand emerging design technologies, including AI-powered tools, and apply them ethically to enhance workflow efficiency, ideation, and production speed, not replace original design work.
  • Pitch creative ideas with a thoughtful understanding of why design decisions were made.
