Requirements
- Proven experience in grant writing (healthcare, hospice, or nonprofit experience preferred)
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Excellent research and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Knowledge of funding sources, including government and private grants
- Familiarity with hospice care or healthcare services is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Healthcare, or a related field preferred
- Experience with grant management tools and Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with hospice and healthcare services
- Write clear, compelling, and impactful grant proposals and applications
- Manage grant timelines, deadlines, and reporting requirements with strong attention to detail
- Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and leadership teams to gather information and insights
- Track submissions, outcomes, and funding progress
- Ensure compliance with grant guidelines and organizational standards
- Build and maintain positive relationships with funding agencies and foundations
