Serves as the primary grant coordinator for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention funded Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity cooperative agreement. This includes both the core and supplemental projects. Performs highly complex grant activities including coordinating, reviewing, evaluating, and reporting internally within DSHS and externally to federal partners on ELC grant activities at various stages. Oversees the development, monitoring and review of assigned cooperative agreements, workplans and budgets. Ensures compliance with requirements and standards. Serves as a liaison between DSHS programs, Funds Coordination and Management Branch, the Budget Office and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Coordinates and maintains ELC grant files and records and prepares reports related to grant activities. Coordinates and approves work plans and timelines to ensure timely submission of ELC program reports. Reviews project costs and approves budget justifications and budget revisions for awarded projects and contracts.
