As a Polisher for Stone Systems, you are going to be responsible for operating polishing equipment to obtain the desired polish and luster on parts and products. Polish material/parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand and power tools. Apply pressure to polish, glaze, and buff while making sure dimensions stay the same. Verify quality of finished workpieces by inspecting, comparing templates, measuring dimensions, and marking any defects for possible rework. Ensure proper use of equipment. Work in a collaborative environment by helping coworkers in other stations if needed. Maintain a clean station. Responsible for wearing all personal protective equipment (safety glasses, earplugs, waterproof gear, face mask, etc). Ensure safety procedures are followed. Other duties as assigned. Completion of a background check and/or drug screening may be required as a condition of employment, in accordance with local laws and client requirements.
