About The Position

Glacial Lakes Energy (GLE) is seeking a full-time Grain Operator at its Aberdeen, South Dakota facility. The role supports day-to-day grain handling operations, including operating the corn dryer, blending and grading grains, retaining samples, and managing the loading and unloading of DDGs and ethanol from trucks and railcars. It is suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors in all seasons and is eager to learn. No prior experience is required; GLE provides training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Must enjoy working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential.

Nice To Haves

• One to three years of experience in grain blending or grading; experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with grain producers and transportation personnel.

Responsibilities

• Operate corn dryers and support all grain handling processes.
• Assist with grain blending, grading, and sample retention.
• Oversee loading and unloading of DDGs and ethanol via truck and rail.
• Collaborate with producers and transportation personnel.
