About The Position

This role involves receiving, shipping, handling, and monitoring grain. The employee will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties as necessary. The position requires accurate and timely receiving, locating, and transferring of materials. Loading and unloading materials onto various containers, using appropriate tools, and transporting materials to designated areas are key functions. The role also emphasizes maintaining a safe and clean working environment, participating in quality improvement efforts, and performing other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Good communication skills
• Able to follow directions
• Self-motivated and able to complete tasks without constant direction
• Must pass a drug test and background check

Responsibilities

• Receive, ship, handle and monitor grain
• Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping as necessary
• Receive, locate, and transfer materials accurately and in a timely manner
• Load and unload materials onto and from a variety of containers including but not limited to trucks, conveyors, racks, pallets, and/or trays; utilizes appropriate tools to accomplish task
• Transport incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment
• Participate in quality improvement efforts
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager
