About The Position

The Graduation Success Coordinator promotes on-time degree completion by helping students navigate and overcome barriers to graduation. Through data analysis, proactive outreach, and individualized support, this role partners with students, advisors, and campus stakeholders to identify solutions and improve student success outcomes. The coordinator also supports Texas One Stop’s integrated service model by assisting students with enrollment services and contributing to a collaborative, student-centered team environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A combination of 4 years of experience in academic advising, student financial aid, student personnel, student services, or related experience.
  • Proficiency with software including Microsoft 365 Office Suit.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and customer focused.
  • Candidates must have superior project, communication, and time-management skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Must be capable of multi-tasking in a high-stress environment.
  • Must be able to prioritize work assignments to complete work within required time periods.
  • Willing to work evening and weekend events as required.
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and provide data, reports, and summaries for Texas One Stop and student success-related initiatives. Responsibilities include accurate record-keeping and analysis of those data.
  • Provide assessment support for assigned programs.
  • Review degree audits, course registration and student records to identify patterns related to graduation barriers.
  • Support initiatives designed to achieve improvements in the four-year graduation rate.
  • Communicate with students, advisors and administrators to trouble-shoot graduation barriers and provide timely solutions for students.
  • Follow intake protocols and work with students on a 1:1 basis.
  • Assist Texas One Stop during peak periods via front counter or email to counsel students on a variety of enrollment services (i.e., financial aid, billing, academic records, registration).
  • Apply critical analysis, independent discretion, and professional judgment to address a wide range of student needs and situations.
  • Serve as an active, positive and engaged member of the Texas One Stop staff.
  • Participate on cross-functional committees as appropriate, develop and manage assigned office procedures, paperwork, and data integrity.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
