About The Position

This program is designed for ambitious students interested in finance and technology who want to work for a firm with a global footprint. Participants will join the 2027 Group Technology Office Graduate Talent Program. The role involves contributing to the full software development lifecycle, developing and supporting business-critical applications using various technologies, and building expertise in areas like full-stack development, distributed systems, data and analytics, AI/ML engineering, and financial technology solutions. The program aims to develop strong problem-solving, collaboration, and continuous learning skills.

Requirements

Graduating between December 2026 and June 2027.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 and above.
Fully completed degree and met all graduation requirements by the program start date.
Proficient in at least one programming language (Java, Python, AI/ML).
Computer science, engineering, or STEM academic background preferred.

Responsibilities

Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement using modern engineering practice.
Develop, enhance, and support business-critical applications and platforms that enable trading, order management, data governance, and client servicing across UBS, using technologies such as Java, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Spring Boot, SQL, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.
Build expertise in full-stack development, distributed systems, data and analytics platforms, AI/ML engineering and enterprise-scale financial technology solutions, while demonstrating strong problem-solving, collaboration, and continuous learning skills.
