About The Position

The Stillman School of Business is seeking graduate students to serve as peer tutors for the 2026-2027 academic year. Peer tutors will work with students in selected graduate business courses, in both individual and drop-in evening tutoring sessions. Tutors serve as a resource to assist other students academically and will serve as an important contact for students who are beginning their graduate studies. Tutors will adhere to Seton Hall University policies on academic integrity and community standards.

Requirements

• Current Seton Hall Graduate student.
• Completed at least one semester of a graduate degree program.
• Provide a minimum of 6 hours of availability a week for appointments and/or drop-in sessions.
• At least a 3.4 Cumulative GPA.
• Strong grades/performance in the class they hope to tutor.
• Good communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• A high level of responsibility.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to tutor in more than one of the specified courses.

Responsibilities
