About The Position
The University of Saskatchewan is seeking Graduate Student Teaching Assistants for the Food and Bioproduct Sciences department. In this role, you will be responsible for various duties related to supporting undergraduate courses, including lab preparation, demonstrations, grading, student consultation, and invigilation. This position offers a maximum of 40 hours per week during the academic term and is available for the 2026 Fall and 2027 Winter sessions.
Requirements
- Minimum of a B.Sc. degree or equivalent in Food Sciences
- Teaching experience
- Currently registered in a University of Saskatchewan graduate program
Responsibilities
- Lab preparation/lab set up, clean up
- Demonstrating (in person labs)
- Marking assignments and report the grades
- Student consultation
- Invigilating
- Conferring with the supervisor in charge as required by assignment
