About The Position
This position will support the Student Support Programs team in effectively implementing program objectives and advancing its mission. The purpose of Student Support Programs is to foster connection and engagement with resources, programs, and support for the individual needs of our focus populations, empowering all students for success.
Requirements
- Must be a current graduate student at Baylor University.
- Must be available to work 15 hours per week between 8 am and 5 pm.
- Must be available for Fall/Spring employment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with student organizations.
- Experience in program coordination and execution.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Familiarity with resources and support for student veterans.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary advisor for Veterans of Baylor student org (VOB)
- Maintain a faculty/staff mentorship connection for student veterans
- Assist in the coordination and execution of events for Baylor VETS
- Provide leadership development opportunities for student leaders within Baylor VETS
- Assist in the programming and execution of Baylor VETS programs
- Conduct outreach to students as needed
