About The Position

Pineapple is a global leader in designing innovative furniture solutions for challenging environments. Founded in 1975 as a family-run business, we now operate worldwide with offices in the UK, France, Germany, and the USA, employing over 200 people globally. We design furniture that supports calm, safety, and wellbeing—combining functionality, sustainability, and great design. This role is for an ambitious graduate looking to kick-start their career in sales. The successful candidate will be a confident, motivated, and driven individual joining our growing US sales team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop skills in business development, relationship building, and account management with hands-on training and support from an experienced team. The role involves generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and working closely with Area Sales Representatives to grow the customer base across the US. We are looking for a strong communicator who enjoys speaking with people, thrives on achieving goals, and is eager to build a successful career with a global company.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate or someone looking to start a career in sales, business development or account management.
  • Confident communicator who enjoys speaking with people and building relationships.
  • Comfortable spending a large part of the day on the phone making outbound calls.
  • Motivated, resilient and driven to achieve targets.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and able to learn new systems, including CRM software.
  • A proactive team player who enjoys collaborating with others.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred, but all degree subjects will be considered.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to learn new systems and CRM software quickly.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, trade shows and training.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service, retail, hospitality or sales experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting.
  • Working closely with Area Sales Representatives to help grow our customer base across the US.
  • Making outbound calls for a large part of the day.
  • Collaborating with others as a proactive team player.
