This position provides assistance with the Hawaii Public Health Collaboration, a partnership with the Department of Health’s Public Health Infrastructure Grant and the Department of Public Health Sciences (DPHS). The goal is to develop and support activities that bolster academic and workforce pipelines and pathways. The role involves organizing and promoting workshops, representing the Collaboration at various events, contributing to program reports and dissemination, and assisting with writing and formatting. Key duties include promoting workforce pathways, assisting in the development and dissemination of program reports and scholarly products, creating presentation and training materials, updating website content, assisting with abstract and manuscript writing, reviewing citations, and taking minutes at meetings. The position is temporary, not to exceed November 30, 2026, and is funded by extramural funds. It is a part-time position with a full-time equivalency of 50% and is renewable based on funding, program needs, and performance. The position is expected to begin mid-to-late August or as soon as possible thereafter.
