GRADUATE NURSE
About The Position
The Graduate Nurse will provide patient care at Samaritan Medical Center in the PCU. The role requires knowledge of nursing principles, the ability to provide quality patient care, and the ability to assess patient needs. The nurse must recognize safety issues affecting themselves and others and assess and implement the use of lifts to move patients safely. Candidates must graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and be licensed or eligible for licensure in New York State. BLS certification is required upon hire or within three months. The position is listed as a 12-hour day shift with 72 position hours. The pay range is $41.57–$62.69. New employees may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $21,000 and may be eligible for relocation assistance.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Be licensed or eligible for licensure in New York State.
- Possess BLS certification upon hire or within three months.
- Have thorough knowledge of nursing principles and the ability to provide quality patient care and assess patient needs.
