About The Position

UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is seeking Graduate Nurses who are graduating with their undergraduate nursing degree in or before Winter 2026 to launch their RN career. This is a full-time Professional Staff Nurse position that allows securing a role up to a year prior to graduation. UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is a leader in treating childhood conditions and diseases, a pioneer in developing new therapies, and an educator of future pediatricians. All positions are located at the main campus in the Lawrenceville neighborhood.

Requirements

  • Graduating with your undergraduate nursing degree in or before Winter 2026.
  • Eligible for State Board Licensure and successfully pass the examination before beginning this role OR ability to start with TPP and must obtain license within 6 months of beginning position.
  • Diploma, associate, bachelor’s, or direct-entry master’s degree.
  • Registered Nurse License or Temporary Practice Permit
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation or Basic Life Support with renewal
  • Act 31, 33, 34, & 73 clearances with renewal

  • Advanced Degree strongly preferred
