About The Position

Airbus is seeking bright minds from around the globe for the Airbus Global Graduate development journey, a personalized two-year experience designed to cultivate professional skills, enhance business acumen, and hone technical abilities, with a strong emphasis on developing leadership potential. Graduates will gain a unique perspective on Airbus while contributing directly in a specific, impactful position. The program includes annual development weeks with the global graduate community for networking and learning from industry leaders. Graduates will be developed into established and valuable team members, sharpening skills in areas strategically important to Airbus, gaining a deep understanding of the business, and learning more about themselves to demonstrate capability for future leadership challenges. Requirements

  • A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study.
  • Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of supply chain management or logistics (0 - 3 years of experience).
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English.
  • A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation.
  • The ability to be self-aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
  • Ability to work in the US without current or future need of visa sponsorship.
  • Awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Project work supporting the continuous improvement of the Airbus Manufacturing Logistics organization.
  • Daily operation support across the logistics department at a multi-program commercial aerospace manufacturing facility, including supporting the Airbus global supply chain.
  • Learn to use SAP MES as well as other Airbus manufacturing ecosystem IT tools.
  • Gain experience and knowledge in lean manufacturing principles.
  • Gain awareness of global supply chain topics.
  • Participate in rotational placements designed to support professional development, which may include different phases of the manufacturing process in logistics operations roles, rotations through the quality department, or in adjacent departments and/or sites dependent on personal development needs.
