Secure Base Counseling Center (SBCC) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated graduate level clinical intern to join our team as a mental health clinician. Requirements

Enrolled in a master's program in Counseling
Strong communication skills and a commitment to client-centered care
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work at multiple locations throughout the week as dictated by client needs
Has reliable vehicle and preferably able to transport clients

Nice To Haves

Ability to commit to a minimum of 6 months is highly desired

Responsibilities

Learn from other therapists and mental health practitioners (newly referred to behavioral health practitioner) through shadowing opportunities
Carry a caseload of CTSS/ARMHS clients providing services in the client’s home and in the community.
Learn how to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds
Provide systemic, trauma-informed care through an attachment lens
Learn how to write functional assessment, MHIS forms, treatment plans, and progress notes that meet DHS standards
Grow professionally through a supportive, reflective supervisor relationship
