We’re looking for a Graduate Environmental Risk Assessor to join our team! At GHD, our Risk Assessors are typically engaged in projects that apply risk assessment and risk management strategies to support contaminated site decision-making under Federal, state, and international site cleanup programs. This includes supporting and implementing site characterization and remedial action projects that involve efforts to identify and control potentially unacceptable human and ecological exposures to chemicals in the environment. In this role you will evaluate large environmental datasets for a wide variety of traditional, as well as emerging (e.g., PFAS), or proprietary chemicals, interpret site characterization data, perform statistical and spatial data analysis, perform contaminant fate/transport and exposure modeling to quantitatively evaluate human health and/or ecological risks, assist with the preparation of reports and other written communications. Document Preparation: Organize and prepare complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for special reports. Sampling and Testing: Collect a range of straightforward samples and undertake testing as directed and in accordance with defined processes and requirements to support regulatory compliance activity. Project Management: Support others by carrying out a range of project management activities.
