About The Position

The EKU Department of Engineering & Technology is seeking a Graduate Assistant for the Spring 2027 semester, beginning January 25, 2027. The successful candidate will contribute to the operation and advancement of the department and its programs. Duties may include teaching or teaching-support duties; updating and supporting laboratory activities; assisting with research; contributing to industry and community outreach, including presenting to industry visitors and hosting prospective students; and performing analyses and/or reporting.

Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements of the EKU Graduate School Assistantship program, including full-time enrollment with the EKU Graduate School and good academic standing. Graduate assistantships are renewable semester to semester, dependent upon University resources and needs. The position is part-time, 10–20 hours per week, and does not include benefits. It is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Offers of employment are contingent upon a satisfactory background check.

Requirements

• At least a bachelor's degree in the field of instruction or a related field from an institutionally accredited or internationally recognized institution.
• Meet the eligibility requirements of the EKU Graduate School Assistantship program, including full-time enrollment with the EKU Graduate School and good academic standing.
