About The Position

The Graduate Assistant position provides various research and support functions within UAMS as a stipend student. The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has a unique combination of education, research, and clinical programs that encourages and supports teamwork and diversity. Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled as a graduate student at UAMS.
• Only those who have accepted a designated graduate assistantship in one of the UAMS College of Public Health doctoral programs should apply.
• Persons must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research activities in support of departmental and faculty initiatives.
• Collect, prepare, and analyze data for research projects and project proposals.
• Analyze and interpret collected research data to support study objectives and reporting needs.
• Provide research and administrative support as assigned by the Dean, Department Chairman, or faculty member.
