The Student Success Center (SSC) Graduate Assistants support the University's efforts to promote student access, academic success, persistence, and belonging. Graduate Assistants work collaboratively with professional staff across the Student Success Center and may support programs and services in Disability & Accessibility Services (DAS), Tutoring & Academic Support, and other SSC initiatives. While each Graduate Assistant may have a primary area of assignment (for example, Tutoring Services or Disability and Accessibility Services) based on departmental needs, experience, and interests, all Graduate Assistants are members of the broader SSC team and may provide support across functional areas. Graduate Assistants report to the Associate Dean but work closely with and support the Director of Disability and Accessibility Services and the Assistant Director of Tutoring Services and the Writing Center. This structure provides Graduate Assistants with experience in student support and higher education administration while allowing the SSC to respond flexibly to changing student and program needs.
