About The Position

Southern Nazarene University is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a graduate assistant coach for the SNU Athletics Strength & Conditioning Program. The University is a member of the NCAA DII Great American Conference. The successful candidate will have a mature, growing relationship with Christ and some collegiate strength & conditioning experience. Applicants must be willing to lead strength & conditioning training plans for a variety of sports.

College undergraduate completion
Minimum of one to two years of related work experience and/or relevant training
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize multiple demands in fast-paced work environment
Typing and spelling competency
Experience with various computer software applications
Data entry experience

Nice To Haves

Some direct strength & conditioning experience
Experience in higher education

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Coach in providing leadership for the SNU Athletics Strength & Conditioning Program.
Play an integral role in the day-to-day administrative responsibilities and player/team training plans.
This position must work within SNU, GAC, and NCAA DII guidelines to provide student-athletes with an exceptional collegiate experience while competing for championships.
