The primary responsibility of the Research Assistant is to work directly with Dr. Simon (Huy) Dang regarding his research project on consumer privacy protection behaviors in AI-driven environments. The study investigates how perceived AI data vulnerability influences privacy concerns, behavioral responses (reactive and proactive), and consumer online well-being. The Research Assistant will be responsible for assisting the PI in a variety of non-administrative research tasks, which may include but are not limited to: conducting literature reviews on privacy, AI, and consumer behavior; supporting survey instrument development and pilot testing; coordinating and executing data collection on-site and through online platforms (e.g., Prolific, Qualtrics); performing data entry, cleaning, and preparation for statistical analysis; and assisting with the preparation of materials for academic publication and conference presentation.
