About The Position

The Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship (CWE) is seeking a motivated Graduate Assistant to support programming and operations for its Women’s Business Center (WBC), funded in part through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). This position will begin in Fall 2026 and continue through the Spring 2027 semester. The Graduate Assistant will work closely with the CWE Program Manager and other center staff to conduct research, develop marketing materials, assist with participant recruitment, and collect client data for reporting and evaluation. This role is vital to the successful launch and ongoing operation of the new accelerator program and will provide important marketing and program support for CWE initiatives.

Requirements

  • Current graduate student in business, marketing, entrepreneurship, public policy, or a related field
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with marketing, outreach, or communications is preferred
  • Interest in entrepreneurship, economic development, or supporting small businesses is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the CWE Program Manager to support programming and operations
  • Conduct research to support program planning and program-related initiatives
  • Assist in creating marketing and outreach materials to support program recruitment and promotion
  • Support marketing and communications efforts to attract program participants
  • Collect, organize, and maintain client data for grant reporting and program evaluation
  • Assist with program coordination, documentation, and administrative tasks as needed
  • Collaborate with CWE staff on outreach, program logistics, and operational support
