About The Position

St. John's University's Center for Psychological Services is seeking a licensed psychologist to provide on-site clinical supervision to doctoral candidates in psychology for three hours per week during the Fall 2026/Spring 2027 academic year. The supervisor will be responsible for reviewing testing protocols and report writing, overseeing case documentation, and ensuring quality training and client care throughout the semester. The compensation for the 15-week semester is $7,624 ($1906/credit for a four-credit course), commensurate with experience. Supervision is expected to continue until all students have completed their assigned cases. Requirements

Current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in New York state (or license-eligible with licensure within a specified probationary period), in good standing with the state psychology board.
Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA-accredited (or equivalent) doctoral program.
Advanced assessment training and experience: Post-licensure experience administering, scoring, and interpreting a broad range of psychological and psychoeducational assessment instruments (e.g., cognitive, personality, neuropsychological, and diagnostic measures), with demonstrated expertise in integrating findings into comprehensive reports.
Clinical supervision experience/credentials: Experience providing clinical supervision to doctoral trainees or postdoctoral fellows, ideally with formal supervision training or certification.
High level writing and reasoning skills.
CV with Doctoral Degree and NYS Licensure.

Responsibilities

Provide group supervision to doctoral trainees on psychological and psychoeducational assessment cases, including test selection, administration, scoring, interpretation, and report writing.
Review and co-sign trainee assessment reports/clinical documentation, ensuring clinical accuracy, ethical compliance, and adherence to professional writing standards.
Conduct live or recorded observation of trainee testing sessions and provide constructive, competency-based feedback.
Monitor trainee progress toward assessment-related competencies and provide input for formal evaluations.
