About The Position

Oral Roberts University is a Christian university in Tulsa, Oklahoma, that develops whole leaders through a Whole Person education. Faculty, staff, and students must adhere to ORU’s Code of Honor Pledge. The Graduate Admissions Representative supports graduate enrollment growth and retention in graduate and professional programs. The role serves as a front-line recruiter, relationship builder, and enrollment closer, providing a high-touch, results-oriented admissions experience that moves prospective students from interest to enrollment. The representative manages an assigned portfolio of prospective students and applicants, provides admissions counseling, helps students complete application and enrollment requirements, and works with faculty and ORU One Stop to support onboarding. The position also represents Graduate Admissions at events, delivers presentations and campus tours, contributes feedback and marketing ideas, and may supervise graduate assistants or student workers. Occasional evening and weekend work and regional or national travel are required. The representative must uphold FERPA and University policies with integrity.

Requirements

Master’s degree required.
At least one year of experience in admissions, recruitment, sales, or customer success.
Strong persuasive communication and public speaking ability.
Data-driven approach and proficiency with CRM and ERP systems.
High level of professionalism and cultural competence, with the ability to build trust quickly.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter who thrives on results and accountability.
Must adhere to ORU’s Code of Honor Pledge and uphold FERPA and University policies with integrity.

Nice To Haves

MDIV or related graduate degree preferred.
ORU alumni are strongly encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding enrollment, sales, or engagement goals preferred.
Salesforce and Banner experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary admissions representative for an assigned portfolio of prospective graduate students, communicating proactively by phone, email, text, video, and in person.
Manage prospects and applicants through the admissions funnel from inquiry to enrollment.
Provide needs-based admissions counseling, explaining program outcomes, career value, and financial options.
Motivate and guide students to complete applications, submit required documents, and finalize enrollment, including use of financial aid and payment.
Anticipate and address academic, financial, or personal barriers to enrollment with urgency and care.
Partner with faculty and ORU One Stop to provide a seamless onboarding experience.
Represent ORU Graduate Admissions at recruitment fairs, corporate visits, church and partner events, and virtual sessions.
Lead and support recruitment and visit events, including Quest Scholarship competitions, virtual open houses, and group visits.
Deliver presentations and campus tours highlighting the value of ORU graduate programs.
Provide strategic feedback to improve admissions processes, communications, and events.
Contribute to enrollment marketing campaigns and digital engagement strategies.
Supervise graduate assistants and/or student workers as assigned.
Travel regionally and nationally for recruitment events as needed.
Uphold FERPA and University policies with the highest integrity.
