About The Position

The Graduate Admissions Evaluator is responsible for supporting the general operations of the admissions cycle, and dissemination of information related to admissions to prospective students, departments and colleges, and to the general public. Furthermore, the incumbent provides services that are equitable, inclusive, and culturally sensitive to enhance the quality of campus life. This position uses a student-centered and equity-minded approach in all communication and service efforts.

Requirements

  • Equivalent to one year of experience related to academic records evaluation required.
  • Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community.
  • Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures.
  • Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence."

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor special populations of admitted students and coordinate with departments and colleges to resolve issues.
  • Interpret admission policies, communicate policies and procedures to prospective students and campus departments and colleges, and recommend changes in procedures and practices.
  • Ensure accuracy of student data, update online admissions information, and maintain the online university application.
